Oded Sternberg Co Founder and CEO
Oded Sternberg is considered one of the leading experts in the area of wealth management in Israel, and has served in key positions in capital markets for some two decades. Oded has extensive expertise and experience serving high net worth individuals, providing a comprehensive solution for preserving family capital and transferring wealth between generations, while utilizing a wide range of financial solutions in Israel and abroad. Previously, Oded co-founded Benefit.com, which managed employee stock benefit plans, serving as its joint-CEO until the firm was acquired by Tamir Fishman Investment House. At Tamir Fishman, he was Vice President of Sales. Earlier in his career, Oded was one of the founders and directors of the McDonald’s chain in Israel.
Shai Angel Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer
Shai Angel possesses extensive knowledge and over 20 years of experience in investment management in Israel and abroad. Shai oversees all of PROFOUND Investment House’s professional activities, including setting its investment policy and managing its relationships with foreign investment banks in Europe and the US. Prior to co-founding PROFOUND, Shai was the Vice President of Investments at Tamir Fishman Investment House, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s investment portfolios and provident funds. Previously, he managed the derivatives department at a private investment and securities firm. Shai holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Haifa University, and an MBA specializing in Finance and Accounting from Tel Aviv University.
Aviel Azuelos Head of Asset Management
Aviel Azuelos has over 20 years of experience in managing investments for high net worth private and institutional clients. Heading the investment department of PROFOUND Investment House, Aviel is responsible for investment management, securities research, and supervision of investment portfolios managed abroad. Previously, he served as Vice President of Investments at Tamir Fishman Investment House, where he set the firm’s overall investment policy in its investment management department. Aviel started his career at Migdal Capital Markets as an investment manager for private and institutional clients. Aviel holds a BA in Economics and Business Management from Haifa University, and an MBA from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Michael Ben Yaakov Senior Analyst & Fund Manager
Michael has 20 years of experience within the fields of research and analysis of securities in a wide range of areas, particularly in management of equity funds. Michael serves as a senior analyst, and as the investment manager of PROFOUND Equity Fund. Previously, Michael served as an analyst in several investment houses, and in recent years he served as the manager and analyst of mutual funds at "ANALYST IMS" investment house. Michael holds a BA in Economics from Ben Gurion university, and an MBA in Business & Administration with specialization in Accounting and Finance from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Lilach Hacohen Back Office Department Manager and Regulation Officer
Lilach is an executive management member at PROFOUND, she manages the company's Back Office Department and is responsible for regulatory and compliance matters. Previously, Lilach served as Account Manager at a leading company in the field of corporate software and information security, where she was also responsible for Licensing and Operations Division of the company's backup and information security products. Lilach holds a BA in Behavioral Sciences and HR Management from the College of Management, and an MBA (Dean's excellence list) from the Open University.

Professor Amir Barnea Committee Chairman
Professor Amir Barnea is a renowned Professor of Finance and the founding Dean of the Arison School of Business at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya. He is also Professor (Emeritus) at the Faculty of Management of Tel Aviv University. Specializing in the areas of banking and corporate finance, Professor Barnea has served as chairman and member of various public committees relating to capital markets on behalf of the Israeli Securities Authority (ISA), the Bank of Israel, and the Israeli Ministry of Finance. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and as an external director of Migdal Insurance and Bank Hapoalim. At present, he serves as an external director of Amot Investments. In 1992 he co-founded the Singer-Barnea Investment House. Today, he heads Barnea Economic & Financial Consulting Ltd. Over the years, he has served as a financial consultant to several of the largest business enterprises and financial institutions in Israel. Professor Barnea received his Masters in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and his Ph.D. in Finance and Managerial Economics from Cornell University
Ziv Dekel Director
Ziv Dekel is an experienced senior manager with some 25 years of international business experience. Previously Ziv served as CEO and Managing Partner of Shaldor, the leading strategy consulting practice in Israel. Under his leadership, Shaldor’s turnover grew eight-fold, profitability improved by dozens of percentage points, and professional headcount increased three-fold. At Shaldor, he led hundreds of strategic projects for tens of international clients across a wide array of industries and sectors. These business-critical projects dealt with diverse issues in the fields of strategy, business development, strategic valuation, marketing, operations, finance, global expansion, turnarounds, new market penetration, and more. Prior to his appointment as CEO at Shaldor, he advanced up the professional and managerial ladder from the position of analyst to those of advisor, team leader and manager. Ziv holds a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA from the Faculty of Management at Tel Aviv University.
